Meet Laura!

Laura is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified pediatric speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping children find their voice and build meaningful connections through communication. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University.

Laura has experience working with children and families across a variety of settings, including public schools, hospitals, early intervention, and specialty schools. She has expertise in the evaluation and treatment of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), receptive and expressive language disorders, speech sound and phonological disorders, and stuttering. Laura has also worked extensively with children and families navigating autism diagnosis and intervention.

Laura has specialized knowledge in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and has supported families in exploring and obtaining insurance-funded speech-generating devices to give children access to the communication tools they need.

At the heart of Laura’s therapy approach is the belief that children learn best when they are engaged, supported, and having fun. Her therapy is child-led, play-based, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based practices, with an emphasis on naturalistic, relationship-focused interactions. Drawing from approaches such as DIR®/Floortime, Laura follows each child’s interests and strengths to create meaningful opportunities for communication and language growth.

Laura is highly collaborative and believes families are an essential part of the therapeutic process. She partners closely with parents and caregivers to develop practical strategies that can be naturally incorporated into everyday routines, helping children build skills that extend beyond the therapy session and into their daily lives.
